Expanding Globally – Progressing Further and Safer

This project by Gandivchem Marine Chemicals offers easy accessibility to excellent networks on the road, train and by sea. Thus, it provides a direct, efficient, and cost-effective route to help reach interstate and international markets. Only 170 km from some of the major ports Navalakhi and Mundra in Gujarat, India, our facility enables quick turnarounds and a constant supply throughout the year for our clients. In addition, good connectivity to the neighboring state highways is also helpful for this plant to access the huge and dynamic Asia-Pacific market.

A strong, fast, and reliable network is the key to delivering quality products safely worldwide in the modern interlinked business world.

Transportation: Bromine is transported in tightly sealed containers, resistant to corrosion, to avoid leakage and ensure safety. Since the chemical is hazardous and requires temperature control, special tankers or containers are used for both road and sea transport.

Storage: Bromine requires storage in specially designed facilities that allow for its volatile properties. This includes climate control and materials constructed so as not to react with the contents chemically. Proper storage conditions conserve and stabilize the quality of the product.

Handling: Safe handling is important throughout the entire supply chain. This involves education for personnel regarding proper protective equipment and procedures in case of a spill or leak.

Regulatory Compliance: Compliance with international and regional regulations is the most important consideration. This includes proper labeling, documentation, and safety precautions as specified by agencies such as OSHA, EPA, or their equivalent in every region of the world.

Distribution: The distribution networks have been aligned for safety and on-time delivery, establishing strategic partnerships with good carriers and using leading-edge shipment tracking systems to trace shipments in transit.

It would require effective logistics coordination between the suppliers, manufacturers, and end-user to manage inventory levels in addition to responding quickly to changes in demand.

State of the Art Logistics

This comes down to handling quite an unusual and dangerous substance that requires careful management and strict observance of transportation requirements. At Gandivchem, we retain control of the logistics with our own specially developed in-house fleet of lead-lined ISO tank containers. The tanks are designed according to ISO dimension requirements and universal features for the transport of hazardous and non-hazardous liquids. Each tank is thoroughly inspected and tested; those failing the test are repaired or retired.

It is on account of this self-reliant approach that quality control and service standards get enhanced, resulting in increased productivity, flexibility, and reliability. Our proximity to production facilities also minimizes supply chain complications, overall.
